Why LVT
Quiet, waterproof and very hard to ruin
An LVT floor gives you the look of wood or natural stone with properties wood simply does not have. It is fully waterproof, so it works in the kitchen, the hallway and even the bathroom. It does not scratch easily, does not fade in sunlight, and feels warm underfoot.
- Quiet. The integrated underlay cuts impact sound by up to 19 dB.
- Waterproof. No swelling, no warping, no water marks.
- Hard-wearing. Use class 33 — suitable for heavy traffic.
- Low maintenance. Vacuuming and a lightly damp mop is enough.

What does an LVT floor cost per m²?
At Calitex prices run from €23.95 per m² for our dry-back range to €57.95 per m² for the 6 mm Diamonds collection. All prices include VAT, and the click floors include an integrated underlay.
Is LVT suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes. All our floors work with underfloor heating up to a surface temperature of 27 °C. Dry-back (2.5 mm) transfers heat best, because it is fully bonded and there is no air layer in between.
Can I install an LVT floor myself?
A click floor, yes: the planks lock together as a floating floor and no adhesive is needed. Allow a day for an average living room. Dry-back is fully bonded and is better left to a professional.
How many m² should I order?
Allow 5% cutting waste for a plank floor and 10% for a herringbone pattern. Every product page has a calculator that works this out for you.
